where can i find custom maps?

I'm writing a website for people to post their maps, which will *hopefully* release with the main game. But there's a discord server created by one of our playtesters which might be useful:

Any chance for a Linux version? I want to try!

It runs under Proton

Nice game but editor doesnt seem to act like the one in screenshots

tried messing with it for a bit and it crashed in just a few seconds, i could never see what was happening, i didnt see the palette, the circle wasnt loading up,  and the timeline was popping out of the box

This is most likely caused by your Windows scale being above or below 100%, this is an issue that will be fixed.

This has been fixed in version 2026.518.0

great, is there a way to edit previously edited levels

Hold left control while entering a level in song select (it tells you this in the top left corner)

Very good rhythm game! I've got one small issue though: the UI in the level editor doesn't seem to work correctly for me. I don't know how to describe it properly, but the windows' content seem to just progressively get more cut off the further it is from the bottom left corner of the screen, and I couldn't figure out how to place notes either. Apart from that, the gameplay is simple and enjoyable, the effects are nice, and I can see a lot of potential in the game itself.

fun demo!

Hey, I really enjoyed this!!! I know a few people below have commented that it seems very hard from the jump. It was definitely too challenging for me outside of normal mode but I have a lot of more advanced rhythm gaming friends who would adore this. If you added some more lower level / more casual maps for this I think you would have a massive hit on your hands, it's really fun to play!

I suck at rythym games. On that, I'll be the first to admit it. But is this game even made for humans? Sure, with enough effort a good rythym gamer could probably even get the 'P' for the first level. But holy shiiiit, some of the later ones are teriffying. I'd actually love for this game to get popular just to laugh in schadenfreude at the misery of others.  I alleviate my rythym game skill depression with the idea that maybe this would be an easier (and maybe even better) game on mobile.

Although, while I do suck at *playing* the levels, listening and watching the effects is pretty cool. I've occasionally listened and watched perfect plays of geometry dash levels just to admire the level. So I do appreciate the existence of the automation mod.

In conclusion, two things. One, boot it off to mobile (if possible, I don't know how annnoying that is, I've never made a mobile game). And two, make some more easy peasy baby levels so as to transition the shittier player and to build confidence in the great player. Although, I wouldn(t even count the tutorial as easy peasy baby mode. Thats around a 3 on 10 difficulty, I'd like ast least a few 1s or 2s. But that's just me

To answer your mobile question: The game will be released on Steam, but a mobile build is definitely possible. Our game engine was built from scratch to support mobile, so it wouldn't take too long. My only concern is syncing that up with Steam services.

To answer the other statement: The demo will definitely be getting an update to make some levels easier. I've been watching people play, and the game really is a little too hard for most people; I might be the best person in the world at this game, and I find the "hard" levels extremely easy, so it's definitely a problem with internal bias.

Thank you for playing!

Update: The game has been updated to make levels easier. In the final game, we might see 3 different difficulties for each song (though don't count on it).

I made a youtube video

Thanks for playing! Btw, if you ever want to watch a level play itself, you can go under the "mods" menu and select "auto play".

This is a beautiful game
